Pod families are not interchangeable across different Voopoo kit lines. Argus V2 top-fill pods do not fit Drag X2 or Vmate E2. Check your device model before ordering.

Argus top-fill V2 pods: the current Argus standard

The Argus top-fill V2 pods (£27.99 at VapeCity) cover the majority of the current Voopoo Argus range: the Argus Z2, G3 Mini, G3, Argus Matrix and P3. All use the same Argus V2 pod chassis with integrated iCOSM CODE 2.0 mesh coils. The top-fill design fills via a silicone-stoppered port under the mouthpiece without removing the pod from the device. Available in multiple resistance options: 0.4Ω for RDL at 20-30W, 0.7Ω for the standard MTL/RDL draw at 12-22W, and 1.0Ω for a tighter MTL at 10-15W. The Argus P3 uses the Argus Snap variant of this pod family, with a clamshell-style top-fill mechanism.

The cross-compatibility across the current Argus line means a single stock of 0.7Ω Argus V2 pods works in any Argus kit from the Z2 upwards. If you own both an Argus G3 and an Argus G3 Mini, one batch of pods covers both devices. This is one of the practical advantages of staying within the Argus line over mixing brands or generations. The iCOSM CODE 2.0 coil uses a specific mesh density calibrated for the 5-30W output range of these kits; flavour performance on 20mg nic salt is consistent from pod to pod.

Pod lifespan with standard 20mg nic salt fruit or menthol flavours is approximately 7 to 14 days of regular use. Sweetened dessert blends leave sucralose deposits on the mesh faster and will shorten this. Signs a pod needs replacing: flavour that tastes muted, a slightly burnt background note on the draw, or reduced vapour on the same wattage setting.

PNP X pods and Vmate V2: Drag series and leather-finish kits

The PNP X replacement pods (£31.99 at VapeCity) cover the higher-output Voopoo hardware: the Drag X2, Drag S2 and Argus Pro 2. PNP X is a different coil platform from the Argus V2 system. PNP X coils come in a wider resistance range: 0.15Ω for full DTL at 60-80W, 0.2Ω and 0.3Ω for sub-ohm RDL at 40-60W, 0.45Ω for moderate RDL, and 0.6Ω for restricted RDL at 20-30W. The Drag X2 accepts all PNP X coil resistances, from loose DTL with a 0.3Ω shortfill setup to a tight RDL with the 0.6Ω on 10mg nic salt. The empty PNP X pod chassis is sold separately for vapers who prefer to buy coils individually rather than pre-built pods.

The Vmate Cartridge V2 pods (£26.99 at VapeCity) are specific to the Vmate E2 and do not cross-fit Argus or Drag kits. The Vmate E2's pod format accommodates 0.4Ω through 1.2Ω V2 mesh coils. The 1.2Ω option gives the tightest available draw in the Vmate range, suited to 20mg nic salt at minimal wattage. The Vmate pods use the same top-fill approach as Argus V2 pods but in a physically different chassis. Attempting to use Argus V2 pods in a Vmate E2 device will not work; the pod contact and airflow alignment are different.
