VooPoo ITO-X XL Replacement Pods, MTL, ITO Coil Compatible

VooPoo operates multiple coil platforms across their device range. The PnP (Plug-n-Play) system is the broadest, covering resistances from sub-ohm DTL options up through higher-resistance MTL coils, and is used across a wide range of VooPoo pod kits. The TPP platform is at the high-power, sub-ohm end, suited to DTL vaping on larger, more powerful devices. The ITO platform occupies a different position: it is designed specifically for MTL use, with coil options that prioritise the tighter draw, lower vapour volume, and higher nicotine compatibility that MTL vaping requires.

ITO coils are not interchangeable with PnP or TPP coils. They are a distinct format sized for the ITO pod socket. If your VooPoo device uses ITO coils, the ITO-X pod bodies are the correct housing. If your device uses PnP or TPP coils, you need the respective pod bodies for those platforms. Confirm your device's coil format before ordering.

The focused MTL orientation of the ITO platform means the coil resistance options available are generally in the 0.8 to 1.2 Ohm range, suitable for use with 18 to 20 mg nicotine salt. The lower wattage at these resistance levels results in modest vapour production per draw, which is intentional: the ITO system is calibrated for the nicotine delivery efficiency of nicotine salt at higher concentrations rather than for maximising vapour cloud output.

The ITO-X XL pod holds more e-liquid than the standard ITO pod. For vapers who use their device consistently throughout the day, a larger reservoir reduces the number of times they need to stop and refill. On the ITO platform, where the coil resistance is typically 0.8 to 1.2 Ohm and wattage is low, each draw consumes less e-liquid than a sub-ohm DTL setup. Despite the lower consumption rate per draw, frequent MTL vapers who use their device regularly across an eight-to-twelve-hour day will still empty a 2ml pod within that window. The XL format extends this to a point where a single fill can last most or all of the day for moderate users.

The XL capacity is also practically useful for vapers who do not want to carry their e-liquid bottle with them during the day. Filling the XL pod in the morning gives a larger starting reserve, reducing the likelihood that the pod runs dry before you return home. This suits daily commuters, office users, or anyone who prefers to manage their vaping in one session at home rather than topping up mid-day.

Because the coil and pod body are separate, the one job that matters is seating a fresh ITO coil and priming it before the first vape. A dry coil fired straight away scorches the cotton, which is the most common reason a new pod tastes burnt.
