SKE Crystal after the disposable ban
The UK ban on single-use vapes came in on 1 June 2025, and a lot of people who'd been buying Crystal Bars quietly assumed the brand went with them. It didn't. SKE, the Shenzhen company behind the Crystal Bar since 2022, had already rebuilt the whole product line around rechargeable pods. The Crystal Bar shape stays exactly the same: clear polycarbonate casing, flat oval body, tight mouth-to-lung draw. The single-use internals do not.
What that means in practice: if you liked the Crystal Bar you vaped before June 2025, the Crystal Bar 600 is its legal replacement. A 400mAh USB-C battery you keep, a 2ml prefilled pod you click out when it's empty. Same 20mg nic salt, same flavour concentrates. The change you'll notice is cost, and only for the better. What SKE Crystal is actually like to use
The draw is what people talk about first. SKE Crystal uses a tight MTL (mouth-to-lung) pull, which means you draw into your mouth first, then inhale. It's the same motion as smoking a cigarette. SKE Crystal flavours worth knowing about
SKE runs over seventy flavours across the range, and not all of them taste exactly as the name suggests. Blue Razz Lemonade is the one that turned the Crystal Bar into a phenomenon. A sharp, sweet blue raspberry balanced with a citrus edge that doesn't go cloying after a hundred draws. Strawberry Burst is the second biggest seller: softer and sweeter than most strawberry vapes, but without tipping into artificial sugar. How to swap an SKE Crystal pod

Watch for the taste change
The clearest signal a pod is done is flavour: when it flattens, then goes slightly burnt, the pod is spent. On clear-shell kits you can also watch the juice level. SKE pods don't have a battery indicator for the pod itself, so the taste change is the real tell.

Pull the pod out
Most SKE pods pull straight out from the top by hand. Firm, not hard. On the 4-in-1, press the carousel release button on the side, turn to the next pod position and feel it click into place. Do not pull while the device is on charge.

Click the fresh pod in
Line the pod contacts up and press straight down (or straight in, depending on the kit) until you feel the click. A loose connection usually means the angle is slightly off. Pull it out and try again. A correctly seated SKE pod is noticeably firm.
