The SKE Crystal Bar is one of the names that defined the disposable era, and this is its rechargeable second act. Same crystal-look body, same easy draw, the same Crystal flavours people grabbed by the till for years. The difference is that the battery charges back up and the pod clips out, so instead of binning the whole thing after a day, you keep the device and swap a 600 pod when it runs dry.

When the single-use bars were pulled in 2025, the Crystal Bar 600 did not disappear, it grew up. There is nothing to fill and nothing to learn: charge it over USB-C, click in a prefilled 2ml pod, and vape. Its rivals are the Elf Bar 600 and the Lost Mary BM600, and the SKE's trump card is the sheer size of its flavour list. It is the entry point to the wider SKE Crystal range.
No. The single-use Crystal Bar 600 disposable went when the UK banned disposable vapes in June 2025. This is the pod-kit version, and it is a different animal: the battery recharges, the pod is replaceable, and it ticks every TPD box.
You get the same compact crystal-look format and the same Crystal flavours, you just charge it over USB-C and click in a fresh pod rather than throwing the lot away. Same pocket vape, a fraction of the waste, and a fair bit kinder on your wallet too.
Worth clearing up before you buy, because SKE sells two 600-puff kits that look like cousins. This is the original Crystal Bar 600, the one whose pod clips on with a friction fit and runs a 500mAh battery. The newer Crystal Pro 600 holds its pod with magnets, drops to a 400mAh battery, and carries a smaller flavour list (around 19). The pods are not interchangeable between the two.
So if you want the closest thing to the old Crystal Bar disposable, with the widest flavour choice, this is it. If you have already got a Pro on your desk, you want the magnetic Pro pods instead, not the clip-on Bar 600 pods. Match the kit to the pods and you will never wrestle a loose seat.
About as simple as a vape gets, and you never touch e-liquid. The Crystal Bar 600 takes a single prefilled 2ml pod that clicks straight onto the device. That pod is the mouthpiece, the 1.1ohm mesh coil and the liquid all in one sealed part.
You draw on it like the old bar, no button anywhere, and recharge the body over USB-C when it runs low. When the pod is empty you pull it off and snap on a fresh SKE Bar 600 pod. No bottles, no coils to change, no mess. The mesh coil keeps the flavour true from the first pull to the last.

The 500mAh battery is small, which is the honest trade for keeping the device this slim. It comfortably sees out a pod or two between charges, and a top-up over USB-C is quick. The old disposables had a habit of dying with liquid still in them. This one just charges.
A small LED light reads the battery, blinking when it is getting low so you get a nudge before it goes flat. As with the rest of the range, there is no USB-C cable in the box, so keep a spare to hand.

Out of the box it is about as quick as vaping gets, with nothing to fill or prime.
Next to nothing once you own it, which is the point of a pod kit over a disposable. The kit is ten to a pack at £28.99, about £2.90 each, and each one comes with a pod ready to vape. From there you are only buying refills: a ten-pack of Crystal Bar 600 pods is £16.99, about £1.70 a pod for another 600 puffs.
Run the sum and it is roughly a third of what an old single-use bar cost across the same 600 puffs, with a fraction of the waste. The 500mAh body keeps going for months of pods, so the only thing you replace is the flavour. For the cheapest way to keep an SKE Crystal in your pocket, this is hard to beat.
This is where the SKE pulls ahead: it has one of the biggest flavour lists of any 600-puff kit, more than 35, drawn straight from the Crystal Bar line. They cover the usual ground and then some, with a few you will not see elsewhere. A handful worth a look:
The SKE Crystal Bar 600 pods are 20mg (2%) nic salt, the UK legal maximum and the strength most people use coming off cigarettes. Salt nicotine goes down smooth, so 20mg satisfies without the harsh catch you got from old freebase liquid.
There is no lower-strength Crystal Bar 600 pod, so if you want to taper down over time, that is a job for a refillable pod kit with bottled salts rather than these sealed pods.
Yes, if you liked the Crystal Bar and you want the same thing without the weekly landfill. It is the closest pod kit to the original disposable feel, just rechargeable, and the huge flavour range is the bit that sets it apart from its rivals. For a new vaper it is about as gentle a start as exists: charge it, clip the pod, draw.
The honest catches are the ones every prefilled kit shares. The 500mAh battery is on the small side, you are tied to SKE Crystal pods, it is 20mg only, and there is no cable in the box. It goes head to head with the Elf Bar 600 and the Lost Mary BM600, so pick on flavour. Want it to last far longer? Step up to the SKE Bar 15K. And to mix your own juice, a refillable from Vaporesso or OXVA is the smarter buy.
The good
The catch
Most Crystal Bar 600 niggles are one of a few simple things. Worth a run-through before you assume it is faulty.
It will not charge
Try a different USB-C cable and a known-good plug or laptop port, and check the port for fluff. Watch the LED to confirm it is taking charge.
No vapour when you draw
Make sure the body is charged (the LED blinks when low) and the pod is pressed fully home. A pod sat half-on will not make contact. Give a brand-new pod a moment to soak first.
A weak or burnt taste
Usually a pod near empty, or a fresh one drawn on too hard before it soaked. Ease off the rapid back-to-back puffs, or swap the pod if it is spent.
The draw feels tight
The Crystal Bar 600 is a fixed mouth-to-lung device with a deliberately tight draw, just like the original bar. That is normal. For an airier draw, look at a refillable kit with adjustable airflow.
The three big 600-puff pod kits are near twins. Quick version below. It really comes down to which brand's flavours you like, so pick on taste.
