The honest answer is that the right resistance depends on how you already vape, not on which one sounds most impressive on paper. Below is how each option actually performs.

The 0.3ohm runs between 32 and 40W and is a direct-to-lung draw. Air flows freely, vapour production is the highest of the three, and the hit is spread across the lungs rather than sitting in the throat. It works best with high-VG shortfill e-liquids at 3 to 6mg freebase, or a lower-strength salt at around 10mg. If you are used to sub-ohm tanks and are looking for pod convenience without giving up your cloud, this is the one to go for.

The 0.45ohm at 26 to 32W is the middle option in every sense. The draw is more restricted than the 0.3 but airier than the 0.6. It sits in the restricted direct-to-lung category that has become the sweet spot for a lot of experienced vapers because it gives good flavour and decent vapour without requiring the commitment of a full DTL draw. Both high-VG juice and 50/50 blends work here. A nic salt at 10mg or a freebase at 3 to 6mg suits it well.

The 0.6ohm at 18 to 23W is the most restrictive draw of the three. Think of it as a slightly airier version of a mouth-to-lung: you pull vapour into the mouth first, then inhale, which is how most smokers vape when they first make the switch. At this resistance, nic salts at 10 to 20mg deliver a clean nicotine hit without the harshness you get from freebase at those strengths. If you are on disposables or nic salts and want something refillable, the 0.6 will feel the most familiar.

A practical note: the Argus E40 kit comes with a 0.3 and a 0.6 in the box, which means you can try both styles before committing to a bulk buy of replacements. Start with the 0.6 if you are unsure, and only move to the 0.3 or 0.45 once you know what kind of draw you prefer.

The 4.5ml capacity is a genuine selling point rather than a marketing claim. Most pod kits sit at 2ml, which means a heavy vaper might refill three or four times a day. At 4.5ml you are more likely to get through a full day on one or two top-ups, or in some cases a single fill if you vape lightly at the 0.6ohm.

The pod is made from PCTG and PC plastics with a clear visible window, so you can see the e-liquid level at a glance without removing the pod from the device. There is no guessing and no unexpected dry hit from running the tank down without noticing.

Refilling uses a side-fill port covered by a silicone seal. To fill, you press back the silicone flap on the side of the pod, pour your e-liquid into the fill hole, and let the seal close again. The pod stays in the device throughout. Four-layer leakproof construction means the seal sits in a multi-wall design that blocks e-liquid from finding its way out around the fill port or the airflow channel. In practice this is noticeably tidier than top-fill pods that require you to tip the device sideways.

After any fresh fill, give the coil two or three minutes to saturate properly before vaping. Rushing straight into a draw after filling risks a dry hit that can scorch the mesh, and a scorched PnP X coil in an integrated pod means replacing the whole cartridge earlier than expected. Take the two minutes. It makes a real difference to how long each pod lasts.

The resistance you have chosen largely determines which e-liquids will work well and which will cause problems. Getting this right matters: the wrong e-liquid can shorten a pod's life noticeably.

For the 0.3ohm at 32 to 40W, use a high-VG e-liquid. That means shortfills at 70VG or higher, or any freebase e-liquid with a VG-heavy ratio. Thin 50/50 juice runs too freely through an open mesh at this resistance and can flood the coil or produce harsh vapour. Nicotine strength at 3 to 6mg freebase is the sensible range here because the vapour volume is high and nic salts at 20mg would be far too strong.

For the 0.45ohm at 26 to 32W, both 50/50 and high-VG work. The slightly more restricted draw means a 50/50 e-liquid does not flood the coil the way it might in the 0.3, and a 50/50 with a 10mg nic salt is a very good match for this resistance. High-VG shortfills at 3 to 6mg are equally suitable. It is the most flexible of the three when it comes to e-liquid choice.

For the 0.6ohm at 18 to 23W, nic salts are the intended pairing. A 10mg or 20mg salt in a 50/50 base delivers a clean, smooth nicotine hit at this wattage without the throat harshness that freebase can produce at higher strengths. Thick high-VG juice is not ideal at 18 to 23W because the wattage is too low to properly vaporise it and you are more likely to get a dull, slightly muted flavour. If you want to use a shortfill in the 0.6, dilute it to a 50/50 ratio first.

One universal rule: avoid very sweet, sugary e-liquids in any integrated-coil pod. Heavy sweeteners leave a sticky residue on the mesh that builds up faster than with unsweetened liquids. The pod will still work, but it will not last as long between swaps.
