VooPoo Vinci 3 cartridges: top-fill PnP pods with magnetic base, 2-pack
The VooPoo Vinci 3 Replacement Cartridges are the empty pod bodies for the VooPoo Vinci 3 device. Each pack contains two cartridges. These are pod bodies only: no PnP coil is included. You install your chosen PnP coil into the cartridge base before use. Both 2ml and XL capacity options are currently in stock at £3.75 per 2-pack.
The Vinci 3 cartridges use a top-fill design and a magnetic base that connects to the Vinci 3 device body. The top-fill port allows you to add e-liquid without removing the cartridge from the device. The magnetic base provides a secure, toolless connection between the cartridge and the device that is easy to engage and disengage for cartridge swaps. PnP coil compatibility means the Vinci 3 uses the same coil platform as other VooPoo PnP-compatible products, including the Vinci 2. Pair an MTL coil with a 50/50 nic salt, or a sub-ohm coil with a higher-VG juice.

Top fill and magnetic base: the two mechanical features of the Vinci 3 cartridge
The top-fill port is located at the uppermost surface of the cartridge, accessible without removing the cartridge from the device. You open the silicone fill cap, press your e-liquid bottle nozzle into the port, fill slowly, and close the cap. The entire process takes a few seconds. Because the cartridge stays in the device during filling, there is no risk of spilling while reinserting a full pod, and no need to dry your hands between filling and continuing to vape.
The magnetic base replaces the traditional press-fit or latch mechanism found on older pod systems. A magnetic connection means the cartridge aligns and seats itself as you bring it close to the device body, engaging with an audible and tactile click when fully seated. Removing the cartridge is equally simple: pull it away from the device and the magnet releases cleanly. There are no push-tabs to press and no latches that wear out over repeated insertions.
Together, these two features make the Vinci 3 cartridge one of the faster pod systems to manage during the day. Refill takes seconds with the top-fill port. Swapping a cartridge (for example, switching between e-liquid flavours or coil resistances) requires only a pull to remove and a press to seat the replacement. Both operations are possible one-handed, which suits vapers who use the device while in motion.
PnP coil compatibility: which coils work in the Vinci 3 cartridge
The Vinci 3 cartridges are compatible with any VooPoo PnP coil. The PnP (Plug-n-Play) coil platform is VooPoo's cross-device coil standard, covering a wide range of resistances from sub-ohm options (for direct-to-lung vaping at higher wattage) up through higher-resistance MTL options (for mouth-to-lung use at lower wattage). The coil you choose determines the draw style, vapour volume, and appropriate nicotine strength for use in the Vinci 3.
Common PnP coil options compatible with the Vinci 3 include the 0.3 Ohm and 0.45 Ohm for DTL use and higher-resistance options such as 0.8 and 1.2 Ohm for MTL use. The Vinci 3 device regulates output based on the installed coil resistance, adjusting automatically to an appropriate wattage range. You do not need to set wattage manually for the device to function correctly with a given PnP coil.
Because these are empty cartridges, you will need to purchase PnP coils separately before the Vinci 3 is usable after a cartridge swap. When installing a new coil in a fresh cartridge, press the coil firmly into the base port until it clicks, fill the cartridge via the top-fill port, wait two to three minutes for the e-liquid to saturate the coil fully, then begin at a lower draw before increasing to your normal intensity. This priming process protects the coil from dry-firing.
Fitting a coil, priming and looking after the Vinci 3 cartridge
Top-fill and a magnetic base make the Vinci 3 cartridge quick to live with, but a fresh coil still needs priming before the first vape. A dry coil fired straight away scorches the cotton, which is the most common reason a new cartridge tastes burnt.
- 1Press your chosen PnP coil into the base of the cartridge until it clicks home.
- 2Open the top-fill cap, drip a little e-liquid onto the exposed mesh, then fill and close the cap.
- 3Let the filled cartridge stand five minutes (ten for a sub-ohm coil) so the mesh saturates.
- 4Magnetically seat the cartridge on the Vinci 3 and take a few slow, gentle draws to start.
- 5Top up through the top port before it runs low, and replace only the coil when flavour fades.
Burnt taste on a fresh coil
It was not primed long enough. Drip onto the mesh, refill, and rest it before starting low.
Burnt taste after a week or two
The coil has worn out, sooner on sweet juice. Press in a fresh PnP coil and keep the cartridge.
Gurgling or a flooded draw
Do not overfill, seat the coil firmly, and close the top-fill cap properly.
Cartridge not making contact
Wipe the magnetic base contacts and reseat it; make sure the cartridge clicks fully home.
