Two compatibility features make the Vinci 2 XL pod the most versatile of the VooPoo pods in our range. First, the pod is compatible with two separate devices: the Vinci 2 and the Vinci X 2. Second, it supports the full VooPoo PnP coil range rather than a subset of it, which means you can dial in your preferred draw style and resistance without being constrained to specific coil options. Both DTL and MTL vaping are achievable within the same pod body by swapping coils. Pair an MTL coil with a 50/50 nic salt, or a sub-ohm coil with a higher-VG juice.

Compatible with both Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2: what this means in practice
Most replacement pod bodies in our range are tied to a single device. The Vinci 3 cartridges fit the Vinci 3. The Argus V1 pods fit the Argus V1. The Vinci 2 XL pod bodies cross two devices: they fit both the VooPoo Vinci 2 and the VooPoo Vinci X 2, which are two separate products in the Vinci line with different output specifications but a shared pod format.
For vapers who own both devices, or who have upgraded from the Vinci 2 to the Vinci X 2, this means a single order of these pod bodies serves both. You do not need to stock separate pod SKUs for each device. The coil you install into the pod body determines the performance level rather than the pod body itself, and the same coil options are available whether the pod is seated in a Vinci 2 or a Vinci X 2.
If you own only one of the two devices, two-device compatibility is still useful as future context: if you later purchase the other Vinci device, your current stock of Vinci 2 XL pods will remain compatible. This is not guaranteed across all device generations in any manufacturer's range, but VooPoo maintains this compatibility across the Vinci 2 and Vinci X 2 specifically.
50/50 and high VG e-liquids: matching e-liquid type to coil choice
The Vinci 2 XL pods are noted as suitable for both 50/50 and high VG e-liquids. E-liquid viscosity matters in pod systems because thicker, high VG liquids do not wick through a coil as quickly as thinner 50/50 blends. Using a very thick e-liquid in a pod designed for low-viscosity liquids can result in dry hits when the coil cannot pull e-liquid fast enough to replace what is being vaporised.
The Vinci 2 XL pod body is designed with sufficient wicking capacity to handle both viscosity levels. When using a 50/50 blend with a higher-resistance PnP MTL coil (such as the 0.8 or 1.2 Ohm options), the thinner e-liquid wicks very efficiently and suits frequent draw patterns without supply lag. When using a high VG blend with a sub-ohm PnP DTL coil (such as the 0.3 or 0.45 Ohm options), the pod's wicking structure can draw the thicker liquid at a rate adequate for normal use at those wattage levels.
The practical recommendation is to match your e-liquid type to your intended coil and vaping style. Use 50/50 nicotine salt e-liquids with MTL coils at 18 to 20 mg. Use high VG, low-nicotine e-liquids (0 to 6 mg) with sub-ohm DTL coils. The Vinci 2 XL pod body accommodates both, which makes it a flexible base for trying different configurations without changing the pod body itself.
Fitting a coil, priming and looking after the Vinci 2 pod
Because the coil and pod body are separate, the one job that matters is seating a fresh PnP coil and priming it before the first vape. A dry coil fired straight away scorches the cotton, especially on the lower-resistance sub-ohm coils.
- 1Press your chosen PnP coil into the base of the Vinci 2 pod body until it clicks home.
- 2Drip a little e-liquid onto the exposed mesh, fill the pod, and close the port.
- 3Let the filled pod stand five minutes (ten for a sub-ohm coil) so the mesh saturates.
- 4Fit the pod into your Vinci 2 or Vinci X 2, start the wattage low, and climb into the coil's range.
- 5Top up before the pod runs low, and replace only the coil when the flavour fades.
Burnt taste on a fresh coil
It was not primed long enough. Drip onto the mesh, refill, and rest it before starting low.
Burnt taste after a week or two
The coil has worn out, sooner on sweet juice. Press in a fresh PnP coil and keep the body.
Flooding or gurgling
Do not overfill, seat the coil firmly, and close the fill port properly.
Leaking from the base
Check the coil is fully seated and the pod body is not cracked or worn; replace the body if it is.
