Vaporesso XROS 4 Nano Kit

The screen is what sets the 4 Nano apart. It is a 1.3 inch circular full-colour TFT display, sharp and bright, showing your wattage, battery level and the pod resistance clearly, so you always know exactly where you stand. On a pod this compact that is genuinely unusual, and it makes the device feel a tier above the plain LED pods it competes with. It is easy to read at a glance and gives the 4 Nano a smart, modern look.

It backs the screen with real control. Fit the 0.4ohm pod and you can fine-tune the power in ultra-precise 0.5W increments right up to 30W, dialling in exactly the warmth and intensity you like. Prefer to keep it simple? With the other pods you just pick Eco, Normal or Power and let the device set a sensible output. That flexibility means the same pod suits a careful tinkerer and someone who only wants to inhale and go.

For such a small pod the 1350mAh battery is generous, and Vaporesso quotes up to several days of use per charge for a light vaper. More importantly it charges fast: over USB-C at 5V/2A it reaches a full charge in around 30 minutes, and about 80% in roughly 20, so a quick top-up while you make a coffee puts plenty back in. The colour screen shows the exact battery level, so you are never caught out.

That combination of a big battery and fast charging is one of the 4 Nano's strongest points. It means the compact size does not come at the usual cost of constant charging, which is the trade-off many small pods force on you. Because it recharges and the pods refill, the only things you ever replace are the pod and the juice, never a battery or a whole device, which keeps the running cost low.

The 4 Nano takes Vaporesso's XROS pods, now with COREX 2.0 Morph-Mesh technology for a cleaner flavour, better aroma and a longer pod life than older mesh. Each pod holds 2ml and fills from the top: lift the stopper, drip your juice in and close it, with no prising the pod out or changing a coil. The kit comes with a 0.6ohm and a 0.8ohm pod, and the range runs 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 and 1.2ohm, so you can tune the draw exactly.

Handily, it works with both COREX 2.0 and the newer COREX 3.0 pods, so it slots straight into the wider XROS ecosystem and pods carry over from other XROS devices you own. A higher-resistance pod gives a tight, cigarette-like MTL draw on nic salts, while the 0.4ohm pod opens it up for a warmer, vapier hit with the power up. Fill it with any nic salt for MTL, or a higher-VG juice on the low-resistance pod for more vapour.
