Vaporesso XROS 5 Nano Pod

This is what sets the Nano apart from every XROS before it. The front is a clear 1.09 inch colour display, sharp at 311 pixels per inch, and it is a touchscreen rather than a readout: you tap the plus and minus to set the wattage, glance at the live puff count and battery, and swipe through 29 different on-screen themes to suit your mood. It turns a simple pod kit into something that feels a tier above its price.

The practical upside is control without menus to learn. Everything you need is one tap away on the screen, so there is no holding a button and counting clicks. It is the kind of touch that makes the Nano feel modern next to the plainer pods, and the reason most people choose it over the screenless XROS 5 Mini.

The Nano gives you three modes to swipe between. Eco dials the output back to stretch the battery and the juice across a longer day, Normal sits in the middle for everyday vaping, and Power lifts the output up to 30W for a warmer, punchier hit. Because it is all on the screen, switching is instant, so you can run Eco on a work day and Power when you fancy more.

Feeding all of it are the new Corex 3.0 mesh pods, the latest version of Vaporesso's heating tech. The reworked mesh and wicking heat more evenly and resist dry hits, which gives the cleanest, most consistent flavour in the XROS range. The pods are 2ml top-fill and refillable, and the kit also takes the older XROS pods, so you can run any nic salt you like.

The Nano carries a 1600mAh battery, the largest in the XROS line, so even with the bright screen it comfortably sees most people through a day, more if you sit in Eco mode. It charges over USB-C at 2A, filling fast from flat, and the screen shows the exact battery level rather than a guess from a light.

Refilling is the easy top-fill design: pull the mouthpiece off the pod, drip your juice into the port and push it back on, no prising the pod out. A 50/50 juice suits the pods best. Because it recharges and refills, the only things you ever replace are the pod and the juice, never a battery, which is the whole saving over a disposable. There is a USB-C cable in the box.
