The IVG SAVR is the easy way back to a refillable vape if you came up on disposables. It is a compact, pocket-sized pod kit, much the same shape and draw as the bars you know, with one big difference: it recharges, and you swap the pod when the liquid runs dry rather than binning the whole thing. IVG rate it at up to 3000 puffs a pod and reckon it works out at about three times the value of a single-use disposable.

It is the smallest and cheapest of IVG's rechargeable kits, sitting below the Pro 12 and the big XL 35K on size and puff count, and it runs on its own SAVR pods. It is part of our wider IVG range.
Single-use disposables were taken off UK shelves in June 2025, and the SAVR is IVG's answer to what people missed about them. It keeps the things that made bars easy, the small size, the tight draw, the prefilled flavours and the draw-activated firing, but builds them around a battery you recharge and a pod you replace. No tanks to fill, no coils to fit, no settings.
The payoff is cost and waste. Where a disposable went in the bin after a few days, the SAVR body keeps going and you only ever buy a fresh SAVR pod. IVG put it at roughly three times the value of a throwaway, and there is far less to throw away each time.

The SAVR carries its liquid in two parts. The bit you vape on is a 2ml pod, and below it sits a 4ml refill container that tops the pod up automatically as you go, 6ml of e-liquid between them. That auto-fill design is what gives the SAVR its up to 3000 puffs without any pouring or mess on your part.
When the 6ml is gone, you do not refill anything by hand. You drop in a fresh SAVR pod, which is the same 2ml pod and 4ml refill combined, and carry on. Give a new pod a few seconds to soak before the first pull.

A 650mAh battery sits inside, enough to see most people through a day, and it tops up over USB-C in about three quarters of an hour. An LED shows the charge level so you know when it is due, and because it recharges you are never throwing a working battery away.
The pod runs a 1.1ohm mesh coil, which keeps the flavour clean and the draw tight, a proper mouth-to-lung pull like a cigarette rather than a big airy lungful. It fires on the draw, so there is no button, and a 3-puff safety lock stops it going off in a pocket or bag.
For a compact device this charge-and-go cycle is the real upgrade over a disposable. You are not waiting hours for a top-up, and because the body holds its charge across pod after pod, the battery never becomes the thing you throw away. Keep a USB-C lead handy, since there is none in the box, and a SAVR rarely leaves you stuck mid-day.
Thirty flavours at 20mg, a big spread of cold fruits, sodas, menthols and a tobacco, so most palates are covered. The iced fruits are the usual bestsellers. A sample of what is on offer:
First run takes under a minute, with nothing to fill or prime by hand.
This is where it earns its keep against disposables. The device comes five to a box at £20.99, about £4.20 each, and each one ships with a pod ready to go. After that you only buy SAVR pods: a five-pack is around £14.99, roughly £3 a pod for another 3000 puffs. So once you own a device, a pod works out near 0.1p a puff.
Stack that against the old bars. A single-use disposable gave you maybe 600 puffs for a few pounds, and went in the bin; the SAVR does up to 3000 a pod and keeps the battery. IVG put it at about three times the value of a throwaway, and on the per-puff sum that holds up. The body lasts months of pods, so the only thing you replace is the flavour.
Most SAVR niggles are one of a few simple things. Worth a run-through before you assume it is faulty.
It will not fire
It may have locked itself; take three quick puffs to wake it. Then check the LED for charge and make sure the pod is pressed fully home.
It will not charge
Try a different USB-C cable and a known-good plug or laptop port, and check the port for fluff. Watch the LED to confirm it is charging.
A weak or burnt taste
A fresh pod fired before it soaked, or one near the end of its 6ml. Let a new pod soak a few seconds; if it is spent, drop in a fresh one.
Gurgling or a little leak
Pods can flood if stored hot or drawn on too hard. Tip any liquid off the base, wipe the contacts, reseat the pod, and take slower draws.
Three IVG rechargeables at very different scales. The SAVR is the small, cheap, disposable-shaped one. Quick version:
| Option | Puffs | Refilling | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| IVG SAVR | ~3,000 a pod | 2ml pod + 4ml refill | Smallest, cheapest, disposable feel |
| IVG Pro 12 | ~10,000 a pod | 2ml pod + 10ml refill | Mid-size, screen, biggest flavour range |
| IVG XL 35K | ~35,000 a set | 2ml pod + 2x10ml refills | Longest life, lowest cost per puff |
If you are coming off disposables and want the same feel for less money and less waste, yes. The SAVR keeps the small size and the easy draw, but the rechargeable body and cheap replacement pods mean the cost per puff drops well below a string of single-use bars. At 5 devices for £20.99 it is about £4.20 each before you even count the savings on pods.
It is not the kit for huge puff counts or low-strength vaping: it is 3000 puffs and 20mg only. If you want far longer between buys, the XL 35K does 35,000, and to vape below 20mg a refillable pod kit you fill yourself is the route. For a simple, cheap, disposable-style vape though, the SAVR nails it.
