GPP pods: the current Caliburn platform
The GPP (G Pod Platform) is Uwell's current pod standard and the one that covers all Caliburn kits from the G3 generation onwards. GPP pods come in four resistance options across two fill formats: side-fill pods in 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω and 0.9Ω, and a top-fill pod in 1.2Ω. The side-fill pods fill via a port on the side of the pod body; the top-fill 1.2Ω pod fills under the mouthpiece without removing the pod from the device.
The practical cross-compatibility matters here: all four resistance options fit the Caliburn G3, G4 Pro, G4 Pro Koko, G5 Lite and G5 Lite SE without any adapter or modification. If you own more than one Caliburn G-series device, a single batch of GPP pods covers all of them. The resistance you choose determines the draw character. The 0.9Ω pod is the MTL option at 12-16W — tight, cigarette-adjacent draw, best with 20mg nic salt in a 50/50 blend. The 0.6Ω at 18-23W gives an MTL-to-RDL hybrid draw at 10-20mg nic salt. The 0.4Ω at 25-30W is the loosest RDL option, suited to 10mg nic salt or 6mg freebase. The 1.2Ω top-fill pod is the tightest draw in the GPP range at 10-13W, closest to a cigarette draw, and fills cleanly without removing the pod.
GPP pods use Uwell's PRO-FOCS 4.0 mesh coil, which pairs with the chipset on current G-series kits to auto-set the wattage output based on pod resistance. On kits like the G5 Lite, which is draw-activated with no manual wattage control, this means the device reads the pod and finds the correct output without any user input. Pod lifespan on 20mg nic salt fruit flavours is typically 7 to 14 days of regular use. Sweetened dessert flavours shorten lifespan due to sucralose residue on the mesh coil.
Which Uwell Caliburn pod fits which kit?
GPP Side-fill pods (0.4, 0.6, 0.9Ω): Caliburn G3, G4 Pro, G4 Pro Koko, G5 Lite, G5 Lite SE, and all other G-series Caliburn kits. GPP Top-fill pod (1.2Ω): same cross-compatibility as side-fill, fills without removing pod. A3 pods: Caliburn A3 only; not cross-compatible with G-series. A3S pods: Caliburn A3S only. A3 and A3S pods: the A-series pod format
The Caliburn A3 and A3S use a different pod chassis from the G-series GPP platform. The A3 pods (£10.99 at VapeCity) are a single-pack format, specific to the A3 device. The A3S pods (£22.99) are for the A3S kit. Neither pod type is compatible with any G-series Caliburn kit, including the G5 Lite, G4 Pro or G4 Pro Koko. This is a common point of confusion for vapers who own multiple Caliburn devices across both A-series and G-series generations.
The A-series pod format predates the GPP platform and uses a different coil architecture. If you are considering upgrading from an A3 or A3S to a G-series device, note that you will need to transition to GPP pods; your existing A-series pods will not carry across. For most vapers currently on an A3 or A3S, the A3 pods at £10.99 represent reasonable running costs. The A2 replacement pods are also stocked at VapeCity for vapers still using the older Caliburn A2.

Both are GPP format and fit the same G-series Caliburn kits. Side-fill pods (0.4, 0.6, 0.9Ω) fill via a port on the side of the pod body; you press the port open, fill, and reseal. Top-fill pods (1.2Ω) fill via a port under the mouthpiece without removing the pod from the device — faster and less messy. The 1.2Ω top-fill is also the tightest draw in the GPP range at 10-13W, suited to 20mg nic salt and a very cigarette-like MTL draw.
Can I use A3 pods in a Caliburn G5 Lite?+
No. A3 pods use a different pod chassis from the GPP platform and are not physically compatible with the G5 Lite or any G-series Caliburn kit. A3 pods (£10.99 at VapeCity) fit the Caliburn A3 only. For the G5 Lite, you need GPP pods.
What e-liquid suits Caliburn GPP pods?+
For the 0.9Ω and 1.2Ω pods (tight MTL at 10-16W): 20mg nic salt in a 50/50 VG/PG blend. For the 0.6Ω (MTL/RDL at 18-23W): 10-20mg nic salt in 50/50. For the 0.4Ω (RDL at 25-30W): 10mg nic salt or 6mg freebase in 50/50. High-VG shortfill is not suitable for 0.9Ω or tighter pods. Avoid heavily sweetened e-liquids to extend GPP coil life.
