Uwell Caliburn A3 Replacement Pods

The 0.7ohm pod is the best starting point for most users switching from disposable vapes or moving from another pod kit. It delivers clear flavour, a comfortable draw warmth, and works with the widest range of nic salt strengths. At the Caliburn A3's output range it runs warm and consistent without any fussing over settings.

The 1.2ohm pod is the tighter option. If you are newly switched from cigarettes and find most pod kits too loose or vapour-heavy, the 1.2ohm draws much closer to a traditional cigarette pull. It works best with 20mg salts and produces noticeably less vapour — some vapers find this more discreet and satisfying for the first few months after quitting.

Both pods use the same mesh coil technology and top-fill design. Pod life is comparable between the two resistances; the main variable is e-liquid type — sweeter, darker liquids shorten coil life faster than lighter-flavoured or unflavoured salts regardless of resistance.

Prime every new pod before firing. Fill it with e-liquid, clip it into the device, wait two to three minutes without drawing, then take a slow, light first puff before vaping normally. This step saturates the mesh coil before any heat is applied, preventing the harsh burnt taste of a dry hit on a fresh coil.

Refill the pod before it runs completely dry for the same reason — a dry coil on any hit degrades the mesh. The 2ml pod fills quickly with the top-fill port, so checking and topping up regularly adds very little time to your routine.

When flavour starts to taste muted or slightly burnt across normal use — not just on a low-liquid draw — it is time to replace the pod. Trying to extend pod life beyond that point generally produces poor flavour and is not worth it.

Caliburn A3 pods are also compatible with the Caliburn A2, which uses the same pod form factor and connection. If you have upgraded from an A2 to an A3 or own both, your pod stock works across both devices.

They are not interchangeable with GPP pods used in the Uwell Caliburn G5 Lite SE or Uwell Caliburn G4 Pro KOKO, which use a different pod ecosystem. Always check the pod family before ordering replacement cartridges.
