Uwell Caliburn G5 Lite SE Pod Kit

GPP stands for Grade A Premium Pocket, Uwell's designation for their current generation of pre-made mesh coil pods. Unlike earlier Caliburn pods that used a cotton-wick design, GPP pods use a mesh heating element that spreads heat more evenly across a wider surface area. The practical result is cleaner flavour from the first puff and more consistent performance across the life of the pod.

The included 0.6ohm GPP pod is a good all-rounder. It works with 20mg nic salts for a close MTL draw and with 10mg salts or 50/50 freebase at the airflow opened up for a slightly looser, warmer experience. Replacement GPP pods are sold separately and are widely available in UK vape shops.

The SE designation on the G5 Lite SE refers to the leather-texture coating on the device body. The eight colour options are Black Leather, Blue Leather, Brown Leather, Gray Leather, Orange Leather, Pink Leather, Purple Leather and White Leather. Each uses a textured finish that is more grippy in the palm than a smooth-surface device.

The coating is also slightly more resistant to minor scuffs than painted plastic. Black and Gray Leather are the most neutral for everyday carry. Brown and Orange Leather have a warmer, more premium feel. Blue, Pink and Purple Leather are the more distinctive choices.

The standard Uwell Caliburn G5 Lite uses a painted finish in colours like Candy Pink, Coral Orange and Ocean Blue. The SE is the same hardware but with the leather-texture coating in eight colour options. Battery, wattage and pod compatibility are identical between the two.

Which you choose is a matter of preference: the standard G5 Lite has brighter, more saturated colours; the SE has a softer look and better grip texture. Both are priced similarly and use the same GPP pods.
