Gotek X and Gotek X3: the entry-level Aspire case
The Gotek X at £6.99 is the most affordable refillable pod kit in the Aspire lineup at VapeCity. A 650 mAh battery, auto-draw activation, and Gotek series pods in 0.6Ω mesh. No buttons, no settings. Fill the pod, slot it in, inhale. The draw is a predictable tight-to-medium MTL, which is what Aspire has always built around. The Gotek X3 at £8.99 is the upgrade most people should consider over the base Gotek X. The 1,200 mAh battery is nearly twice the capacity, which makes a measurable difference if you vape throughout the working day. The ASP chipset brings three switchable wattage modes: Eco at around 10W (tight MTL, extends battery), Normal at 14W, and Max at 18W (looser, more vapour). Gotek Nano, Gotek Pro and Loomix: compact to premium
The Gotek Nano (£9.99) sits between the Gotek X and the X3 in the lineup. A 1,000 mAh battery and auto-draw activation, like the Gotek X, but in a narrower, lighter chassis. The adjustable bottom airflow slider lets you tighten or loosen the draw without swapping pods. At 9.99, it is the right choice if the Gotek X feels too light in hand and the X3's size is more than you want, or if a compact device that fits easily in a jacket pocket matters more than maximum battery. The pod format is the same Gotek series, so there is no new consumable platform to learn.
The Loomix (£13.99) represents a different direction. Aspire's BP coil platform offers a cleaner mesh construction compared to the Gotek series coils, with the aim of slightly better flavour resolution from the same e-liquid. Do all Aspire Gotek kits use the same pods?+
Yes. The Gotek X, Gotek X2, Gotek X3 and Gotek Nano all use the same Gotek replacement pods (0.6Ω mesh, 2ml). If you upgrade from a Gotek X to a Gotek X3, your existing Gotek pods carry over. The Loomix uses BP coil pods, which are specific to the Loomix and are not cross-compatible with Gotek kits.
What is the difference between the Aspire Gotek X and Gotek X3?+
The main differences are battery and chipset. The Gotek X has a 650 mAh battery and basic auto-draw activation. The Gotek X3 has a 1,200 mAh battery (nearly double), an ASP chipset with three switchable wattage modes (Eco, Normal, Max), and a battery level indicator display. What e-liquid works best in Aspire Gotek kits?+
20mg nicotine salt in a 50/50 VG/PG blend for the standard 0.6Ω Gotek pod (MTL at 10-18W). For the Gotek X3 on Max mode at 18W you can also use 10mg nic salt in a 50/50 blend for a slightly looser draw. High-VG shortfill is not recommended for 0.6Ω MTL pods; the cotton will not wick it cleanly at that resistance.
