The Vaporesso Vibe is a refillable mouth-to-lung pod kit, part of Vaporesso's MTL pod series and aimed at vapers who want more control and capacity than a basic sealed pod offers, without stepping up to a full sub-ohm setup. It takes a 4.5ml refillable pod that you fill yourself with bottled nic salt, which is both cheaper per millilitre than prefilled pods and far more flexible on flavour. The whole thing runs on a 1100mAh battery that comfortably lasts most vapers a full day.
Inside the pod is a dual-mesh HyperFlow coil, which heats the e-liquid across a wide, even surface for the rich, consistent flavour Vaporesso's mesh coils are known for. Two resistances are available: a 0.8 ohm for a warmer, slightly airier MTL draw and a 1.0 ohm for a tighter, more restrained one. The HyperFlow wicking keeps the coil fed and resists the dry hits that thin liquids can cause in high-resistance coils.
What lifts the Vibe above a basic pod kit is the control. A 0.54-inch OLED screen shows your battery percentage, the pod resistance, a puff counter and the current mode, and a single side slider lets you switch between ECO and PWR modes while adjusting the airflow. ECO conserves battery for a softer, longer-lasting session; PWR gives a stronger, warmer draw. Draw-activated and built on Vaporesso's Axon chip, it is a capable little device, and at £15.99 in eight colours it is an affordable refillable kit.
The Vibe is a refillable kit, which is the key difference from prefilled pod systems like the Elf Bar ELFA. Instead of buying sealed pods that come ready-filled, you buy the device with a refillable pod and fill it yourself with bottled nic salt. That has two big advantages: cost and choice. Bottled nic salt works out far cheaper per millilitre than prefilled pods, and you can use any 50/50 nic salt you like rather than being tied to one brand's prefilled range.
The 4.5ml pod capacity is generous for an MTL kit, well above the 2ml of a typical prefilled pod, so you refill less often during the day. The pod is top-fill, which keeps refilling quick and clean: open the fill port, add your e-liquid, and vape. The trade-off against prefilled pods is the small step of filling it yourself, which most vapers find well worth the saving and the freedom of flavour.
The pod is replaced when the coil tires rather than swapping a separate coil head, which keeps maintenance simple. You keep a couple of spare pods on hand and fit a fresh one when the flavour dulls. If you would rather not refill at all, a prefilled kit such as the Elf Bar ELFA is the simpler alternative, though it costs more to run.
The 0.54-inch OLED screen is a feature you do not usually get at this price. It displays your battery as a percentage rather than a vague light, the resistance of the pod you have fitted, a puff counter, and the current vaping mode. That information makes the Vibe feel more like a proper device than a simple pod, and the battery percentage in particular takes the guesswork out of when to charge.
The two modes are the other standout. ECO mode reduces the power output for a softer draw and longer battery life, which is ideal for all-day vaping when you are away from a charger. PWR mode raises the output for a stronger, warmer hit and more vapour. With the 0.8 ohm coil, ECO runs at around 14W and PWR at around 24W; with the 1.0 ohm coil, around 12W and 20W. Switching between them lets you tune the experience to the moment.
A single side slider handles both the mode switch and the airflow adjustment, which is a neat, intuitive design: one control to set how the device draws and how hard it hits. Combined with the screen, it gives you real, visible control over the vape without any complicated menus. The Axon chip underpins it all, managing the dual modes and keeping output consistent.
The Vibe's pods carry a dual-mesh HyperFlow coil. Dual mesh heats the e-liquid across a broad, even surface for fuller flavour and smoother vapour than a single-wire coil, and the HyperFlow wicking keeps the coil saturated so it resists dry hits. Two resistances are offered: the 0.8 ohm gives a warmer, slightly more open MTL draw, while the 1.0 ohm gives a tighter, cooler one closer to a cigarette.
As an MTL pod kit, the Vibe is made for nic salt e-liquid in a 50/50 VG/PG blend. That ratio is thin enough to wick reliably through the coils and tuned for a firm throat hit and a tight draw. Most vapers run a 10mg or 20mg nic salt: 20mg for a stronger, cigarette-like hit, or 10mg if you find 20mg too strong or you vape frequently through the day.
It is not built for high-VG sub-ohm shortfills. A thick 70/30 liquid will not wick well through the 0.8 ohm or 1.0 ohm coils and is meant for far higher-powered sub-ohm tanks. Stick to 50/50 nic salts and the Vibe performs as intended, with the freedom to use any compatible bottle being the whole point of a refillable kit.
Vaporesso makes a wide range of pod kits, and the Vibe sits in the MTL, refillable, screen-equipped part of it. Against the Vaporesso Eco Nano, the Vibe adds the OLED screen and the dual ECO/PWR modes, where the Eco Nano is simpler and more focused on battery life and value. If you want the extra control and information, the Vibe is the step up.
Against the Vaporesso Luxe X2, the difference is mainly size and capacity. The Luxe X2 is a larger MTL device with a bigger battery; the Vibe is a more compact, more affordable option that still brings a screen and dual modes. For a vaper who wants a capable MTL pod without a large device or a large price, the Vibe is well placed.
For anyone coming from disposables or a basic prefilled pod, the Vibe is a natural progression: refillable for lower running costs, with enough control to grow into. If you prefer a Vaporesso device with a different form factor, the XROS 4 line is the slimmer alternative. The Vibe's combination of a screen, dual modes and a large refillable pod is its distinguishing feature at this price.
The Vibe adds a couple of small steps to the disposable routine, filling the pod and, if you like, setting a mode, but neither takes long, and the OLED screen tells you exactly where you stand. Charge it, fill the top-fill pod with your nic salt, give the coil a few minutes to soak, then pick ECO or PWR on the side slider and inhale. The soak is the one step worth not skipping, since a dry first puff on a fresh coil tastes burnt.
The Vibe punches above its price by handing you control most cheap pod kits leave out. An OLED screen that shows real battery percentage, dual ECO and PWR modes, a large 4.5ml refillable pod and a smooth dual-mesh coil add up to a device that grows with you, all for £15.99. For an ex-disposable user ready to fill their own and want a bit more to play with, it is a smart, well-rounded buy.
The trade-offs are the usual refillable ones rather than flaws: you fill it yourself, it wants 50/50 nic salt rather than thick sub-ohm juice, and pods are an ongoing cost. It is also firmly mouth-to-lung, so cloud chasers should look elsewhere. The eight colours below are cosmetic only, so pick on looks and weigh the pros and cons.
