Summo Dual Resistance Pods (3 Pack)

The dual-resistance pod is a single physical cartridge with two separate coil assemblies built into it. Each coil has its own wicking cotton feed from the shared 2ml e-liquid reservoir. The pod has a toggle or selection switch on its body that routes the airflow and electrical contact to one of the two coils, effectively choosing which one is active without any disassembly.

The two coils share the same e-liquid supply, so both are wetted from the same fill. This means you can switch between resistance modes mid-fill without either coil drying out. The e-liquid consumption rate differs between the two coil modes: the lower-resistance coil runs hotter and consumes liquid faster. A 2ml pod used predominantly on the lower-resistance coil will run dry more quickly than one used predominantly on the higher-resistance coil.

The 0.6/1.2 Ohm pack covers the widest range of draw styles. The 1.2 Ohm coil is the tightest in the Summo system, producing a genuinely cigarette-close draw with minimal vapour. This is the best match for new vapers who have recently quit smoking or who use the device primarily for nicotine delivery rather than cloud production. The 0.6 Ohm coil in the same pod opens up to a comfortable restricted DTL draw with noticeably more vapour.

The 0.4/0.8 Ohm pack is for vapers who are already comfortable with restricted DTL or mild sub-ohm vaping. The 0.8 Ohm coil produces a warm, moderately cloudy restricted DTL draw. The 0.4 Ohm coil pushes into sub-ohm territory with denser vapour and a warmer hit. This pack suits vapers who have graduated past the MTL draw and want flexibility within the DTL range.

Because each pod contains two coils, priming both coil assemblies before first use is important. When installing a new pod, add drops of e-liquid to both of the visible coil wicking ports before filling the pod body. After filling, allow five minutes for both coils to fully saturate before vaping.

Replace the pod when either coil develops a persistent burnt taste. Once one coil is spent, the second may still have life remaining, but the risk of cross-contamination of burnt taste into the second coil's e-liquid channel makes full replacement the practical choice. At three pods per pack, the replacement cycle for the Summo system is similar to standard single-coil pod packs.
