OXVA NeXLIM Replacement Pods Dual Mesh, 2ml and XL, 3 Pack

Single mesh coils became the standard replacement for traditional wire coils because the mesh weave creates more surface area per unit of metal, heating a larger e-liquid film at once and producing more vapour with better flavour extraction. Dual mesh takes this further by stacking two mesh layers.

With two mesh layers, the total heating surface nearly doubles compared to a single mesh coil of the same resistance. This means you get more vapour production without needing to increase the wattage, and the heat distribution across the coil face is more uniform. Hot spots -- areas where one part of the coil runs hotter than others -- are a common cause of inconsistent flavour and accelerated coil degradation. The dual mesh arrangement is less prone to hot spots because both layers share the thermal load.

In practice, most vapers notice the improvement as a slight increase in flavour clarity and a smoother draw. The dual mesh NeXLIM pods are particularly noticeable on the 0.6 Ohm option, where the restricted DTL draw benefits from the additional surface area delivering more vapour into each pull.

The 2ml and XL variants are mechanically identical except for the size of the e-liquid reservoir. Both use the same dual mesh coil, the same top-fill port, and the same NeXLIM device connection.

The 2ml pod is the compact option. It holds 2 millilitres of e-liquid, which for most vapers translates to a few hours of moderate use. It suits vapers who switch flavours frequently -- a smaller reservoir means less liquid to get through before the next flavour change -- and those who prefer a slimmer, lighter feel in the device.

The XL pod holds more e-liquid and suits all-day vapers who want to refill less frequently. It is the better choice if you stick to one or two e-liquids and want to minimise the number of times you top up during a day. Note that the 0.6 Ohm XL and 1.2 Ohm 2ml variants are currently out of stock. Available combinations at the time of this page are: 0.6 Ohm 2ml, 0.8 Ohm 2ml, 0.8 Ohm XL, and 1.2 Ohm XL.

The 0.6 Ohm coil is the restricted direct-to-lung (RDTL) option. You draw directly into your lungs with a slightly tighter airflow than a fully open DTL coil. Vapour production is moderate to high, and flavour intensity is strong. Use 10 to 12 mg nicotine salt here. Only the 2ml variant is in stock for the 0.6 Ohm at present.

The 0.8 Ohm coil is the mouth-to-lung standard. You draw into your mouth first, then inhale into your lungs. This closely mimics the action of a cigarette and is the most popular starting point for people switching from smoking. Pair with 18 to 20 mg nicotine salt for the most effective cigarette replacement. Both 2ml and XL capacity variants are in stock for the 0.8 Ohm.

The 1.2 Ohm coil produces the tightest draw of the three. The airflow restriction is at its maximum here, closely matching the narrow pull of a cigarette more than any other option in this range. It runs at lower wattage (10 to 14W) and works best with 20 mg nicotine salt. Only the XL variant is in stock for the 1.2 Ohm.

These pods are specifically designed for the OXVA NeXLIM and OXVA NeXLIM Go devices. The NeXLIM uses a different pod mount and connector system from the XLIM series -- NeXLIM pods do not fit XLIM devices, and XLIM pods do not fit the NeXLIM. If you own an OXVA XLIM, XLIM 3, XLIM Pro, or other XLIM variant, you need XLIM-series cartridges, not NeXLIM pods.

The NeXLIM is OXVA's newer pod kit, designed around the dual mesh coil format from launch. The device and pod system were co-developed, so the pod mount, coil contact geometry, and airflow channel are all optimised for the dual mesh arrangement. Fitting standard single-mesh pods to a NeXLIM device is not possible due to connector differences.

Correct priming on the first use protects the dual mesh coil and ensures clean flavour from the start.
