The OXVA Nexlim takes the refillable pod formula OXVA is known for and doubles up the coil. Each Nexlim pod carries two mesh coils rather than one, which is where the name comes from, and that pairing is the whole pitch: more surface to heat the juice means richer flavour, fewer dry hits and a coil that lasts a good deal longer than a single mesh. On top of that it runs to 40W, has a bright 0.85 inch colour screen and a 1500mAh battery, so it does far more than a basic pod while staying pocketable.

The clever twist is two power modes that use those twin coils differently. ECO mode alternates between the two coils to stretch the battery and the pod across a longer day, while Boost mode fires both at once for the biggest flavour and vapour. You fill the pod with your own juice and set the draw with an airflow slider, covering everything from a tight mouth-to-lung vape to a looser restricted direct-lung hit. It sits in our refillable pod kits as one of the more interesting pods going, a different take to the single-coil Xlim Pro 3.
The Nexlim pod is the headline. Inside each one are two mesh coils instead of the usual single coil, which spreads the heat over more surface for a cleaner, richer flavour and far fewer hotspots or dry hits. OXVA rate the dual-mesh design at up to 200 percent longer pod life than a single mesh, so you swap pods less often and the running cost drops.
Two modes make the most of that twin-coil setup. ECO mode alternates between the two coils, so each works less hard, which stretches the battery and the pod life for an easy all-day vape. Boost mode fires both coils together for the fullest flavour and the most vapour, at the cost of getting through the pod and battery a little quicker. You switch between them on the screen, so you can sit in ECO and flick to Boost when a flavour earns it.

The Nexlim carries a bright 0.85 inch colour screen that shows the wattage, the battery, a puff count, the pod resistance and which mode you are in, with three themes to pick from. It is a clear, modern readout that makes the device easy to live with, and a lock stops anything changing in your pocket.
Power runs from 5 up to 40W, which is more than most pods this size and what lets the Nexlim handle a warmer restricted direct-lung draw as well as a tight mouth-to-lung one. Wind it down on a higher-resistance pod for a cool MTL vape, or push it up in Boost mode on the 0.6ohm pod for clouds. The device sets a sensible wattage for whichever pod you fit, and you can nudge it to taste on the screen.

The Nexlim pods are refillable and top-filling: lift the cap, drip your juice in and close it, no prising the pod out. The kit comes with a 0.6ohm pod for a warmer restricted-lung draw and a 0.8ohm pod for a tighter mouth-to-lung style, and the range runs up to a 1.2ohm for the tightest MTL. Each is a 2ml pod with the dual-mesh coil built in, so you replace the pod when it tires rather than rebuilding anything.
An airflow slider on the device fine-tunes the draw from tight to airy without changing the pod. For most people a 50/50 nic salt suits the higher-resistance pods, while a higher-VG shortfill works well in the 0.6ohm pod on Boost mode. That mix of dual-mesh pods, two modes, adjustable watts and adjustable air is what makes the Nexlim cover so many styles on one device.
There is very little to it, and the screen guides the rest. Fill the pod, let it soak, set the mode and power, and vape. The one habit worth keeping is giving a fresh pod a couple of minutes before the first hard pull so the coils wick and you avoid a burnt taste.
The kit is £20.99, and after that you only buy pods and juice. The dual-mesh pods last noticeably longer than a single-coil pod, so you swap them less, and ECO mode stretches each one further again. Fill it from a 10ml nic salt for a couple of pounds and a pod-full costs pennies, far below prefilled pods or disposables.
Against a disposable it is no contest: you buy the device once and then only pay for pods and juice, where a bar gets binned every couple of days. You bin far less, just a small pod now and then, and the longer-life coils mean even those go further. It is the same money-saving logic as any refillable pod kit, helped along by the twin-coil design.
The Nexlim is reliable, but a refillable with twin coils asks a little care. Most snags trace to a pod that has not soaked, the mode or airflow, or a juice that does not suit the pod.
Burnt or dry hit
The coils have not wicked. After filling, leave a fresh pod two to three minutes and prime with gentle pulls. Boost mode on a dry pod makes this worse, so start in ECO.
Gurgle or leaking
Do not overfill past the line, close the cap firmly and store it upright. A few priming pulls clear a flooded coil.
Battery drains fast
Boost fires both coils and uses more power. Switch to ECO mode for everyday vaping and the 1500mAh battery lasts noticeably longer.
Weak flavour
Switch to Boost, open the airflow, nudge the wattage up, or fit the 0.6ohm pod. Check the battery has charge on the screen.
Within OXVA the choice is mostly single coil versus dual. The Xlim Pro 3 is the slick flagship of the single-coil Xlim line with a bigger HD screen, while the Nexlim is built around twin-coil pods and the ECO and Boost modes for richer flavour and longer pod life. If you want the nicest screen and the established XLIM pod, the Pro 3 is the pick; if the dual-mesh flavour and the two modes appeal, the Nexlim is the more interesting device. They use different pods, so pick the system you want to stay in.
Against a disposable it is in a different league on cost, control and waste: you buy it once and then only pay for pods and juice. It is more involved than a sealed pod, but only a little, and the screen makes it easy. For anyone wanting big flavour from a compact refillable, the Nexlim is one of the more rewarding pods around, and it slots in alongside our wider sub-ohm vapes for the looser style.
