What are the Aspire Pixo Replacement Pods?
These are the refillable pods for the Aspire Pixo pod kit, and they come in three resistances: 0.4, 0.6 and 1.0 ohm. Each has a mesh coil built into the body, so when it tires you swap the whole pod rather than wrestling a separate coil. Which Aspire Pixo pod resistance should you pick?
The 0.4 ohm is the warmest and most open of the three. It runs at a higher wattage with airflow built for a restricted direct-lung draw, and it likes 50/50 to 60/40 juice at lower strengths, around 3mg to 6mg freebase. If you have come from a sub-ohm tank and miss the warmer, cloudier feel, this is as close as the Pixo gets.
The 0.6 ohm is the all-rounder, and the one to reach for if you are unsure. It does a tighter MTL or a slightly looser draw depending how hard you pull, and it gets on with 50/50 juice and 10mg or 20mg salts without turning harsh. It covers the middle ground so well it is the sensible default.
The 1.0 ohm is the tightest, built for strict MTL with nic salts. Restricted airflow, cooler and more modest vapour, and a draw that sits closest to a cigarette. For anyone switching from smoking who finds the lower resistances too airy or warm, this is the comfortable starting point.

How to fill an Aspire Pixo pod
A ten-second job once you have done it once. The only rule worth keeping is letting a fresh pod soak before you vape it.
- 1Pop the pod out and open the side-fill port.
- 2Drip your e-liquid down the inside wall, avoiding the central airflow tube, and fill to just below the top.
- 3Close the port and stand a fresh pod upright for three to five minutes so the coil wicks through.
- 4Press the pod back into the Pixo until it seats.
- 5Start with a couple of gentle priming puffs before settling in.
When should you replace a Pixo pod?
Built-in coil pods do not last forever. The signs and fixes below cover it.
Slightly burnt or muted taste
The coil is tiring as residue builds on the wick. A refill will not fix it, so swap in the spare.
Burnt taste on a new pod
It was vaped before it soaked. Fill it, wait five minutes, then prime gently.
Liquid gone dark brown
A clear sign the coil is near the end. Replace it before the flavour goes off entirely.
Pod wears out fast
Sweet dessert juices and running it near-empty both speed wear. Keep it topped up and expect shorter runs on sweet blends.

How do I know when to replace my Aspire Pixo pod?
The clearest sign is a change in flavour: a burnt or charred edge, or a noticeable drop in intensity. Liquid darkening from yellow to brown in the pod is another tell. Most pods last one to two weeks; heavy use or sweet juices bring that forward.
Can I use both pods in the pack for different flavours?
Yes. The two are identical, so dedicate one to each flavour. Once a pod has run a particular juice, the old taste clings to the wick, so rinsing and swapping flavours is not really worth it. One pod per flavour is the clean way.
Do the Aspire Pixo pods work in any other Aspire device?
No. The Pixo pods are made specifically for the Aspire Pixo, with a pod shape, connection and airflow unique to it. They are not interchangeable with the Gotek, Flexus Pro or other Aspire lines.
Which Pixo pod is best for someone new to vaping?
