Most replacement pods top out at 2ml, which for a steady vaper means a refill or two before teatime. The Aspire Flexus Pro pod holds 3ml, and that fifty percent more liquid is the whole point. For a moderate user one fill often sees out the day, which turns the Flexus Pro from a device you keep topping up into one you mostly leave alone. The replacement pods carry that quiet convenience forward.
Inside each pod is a mesh coil, built straight in, so when the coil tires you swap the whole pod rather than wrestling a separate coil into place. Two resistances cover the bases: 0.6ohm for a warmer, more vapour-forward draw, and 1ohm for a tighter MTL that leans towards a cigarette. The push-fit drops in without ceremony, the side-fill keeps refilling tidy, and they come two to a pack, one in use and one in reserve. Restocking other kit? The full Aspire replacement pods range has the rest.
Going from 2ml to 3ml is a fifty percent jump in how much liquid you carry between fills. If you get through three or four millilitres a day, a 2ml pod has you refilling twice. The 3ml usually covers the day on a single fill, and for lighter users the midday top-up disappears entirely. That is a real quality-of-life nudge, not a spec-sheet boast.
The bigger reservoir is also kinder to the coil. With more liquid in reserve the wick rarely runs close to dry, which is where dry hits and that scorched edge to the flavour creep in. Keeping any pod above the halfway mark is good practice whatever its size, but a 3ml pod is simply more forgiving than a 2ml one that drains faster and demands your attention sooner.
The 0.6ohm is the warmer, livelier pod. It pushes more vapour and the draw sits somewhere between a loose MTL and a restricted lung hit, depending how hard you pull. It gets on best with 50/50 or 60/40 juices and suits 10mg salts or lower-strength 3mg to 6mg freebase. Reach for it if you want more warmth and a bigger hit of flavour.
The 1ohm is the strict MTL. Tighter, cooler, more restrained vapour, and a draw that sits closest to a cigarette. It pairs best with 20mg nic salt for a smooth, satisfying hit. If you have settled on the Flexus Pro as your daily and you want the most cigarette-like feel it can give, this is the pod.
Structurally they are the same bar the coil and the airflow that comes with it, and both make full use of the 3ml. Stuck choosing? The 0.6ohm is the more versatile across juice types, while the 1ohm is the better first pick for anyone freshly off the cigarettes.
A ten-second job once you have done it once. The only rule worth obeying is letting a fresh pod soak before you vape it.
Anywhere from one to two weeks on typical use, depending on how hard you vape and what you fill it with. The first warning is a quiet dip in flavour, a slightly muted or off note that was not there when the pod was new. A burnt taste is the blunt one: that pod is done, swap it now.
Sweet and dessert juices burn through pods faster than tobacco, menthol or fruit, because all that sugar caramelises onto the wick. If your daily is a custard or a sweet bakery, check the pod weekly rather than fortnightly. The two-pack means the replacement is already in the drawer when the first one calls it a day.
Burnt taste on a new pod
It was vaped before it soaked. Fill it, wait five minutes, then prime with a couple of gentle pulls.
Burnt taste on an older pod
The coil is spent. One to two weeks is a fair run, less on sweet juice. Swap in the spare.
Leaking or gurgling
Check the fill plug is fully seated, do not overfill past the line, and avoid storing it on its side.
Weak flavour or thin vapour
Make sure the pod is fully clicked home, and try the 0.6ohm if you want more warmth than the 1ohm gives.
