Nordic Spirit Frosty Berry Max 17mg

Joint strongest. Nordic Spirit tops out at 17mg per pouch, and only two flavours get there: Frosty Berry Max and Frosty Mint Max. Everything else in the range stops at 11mg, and the plain fruits (Blueberry, Raspberry, Forest Berries) stop at 9mg. If you have been searching for the strongest Nordic Spirit, it is one of these two black cans, and the choice between them is purely flavour.

The dot system on the lid makes the tiers easy to read. Two dots is Regular (6mg), three is Strong (9mg), four is X-Strong (11mg) and six is Max (17mg). There is no five-dot product; the gap between four and six is deliberate, to signal that Max is a separate tier rather than the next step up.

By weight it works out at 24mg of nicotine per gram of pouch, which is the figure some retailers quote instead. For comparison the 11mg X-Strong is about 15.7mg/g and the 9mg Strong about 12.9mg/g. Same 0.7g slim pouch each time; the difference is entirely in what is loaded into it.

Is it the strongest pouch full stop? No. Several brands go past 17mg, some a long way past, and you can find them in our wider nicotine pouches range. Within the JTI moist format, though, this is the ceiling.

Colder and less sweet than the 9mg and 11mg, even though the flavouring is nominally the same. If you cannot decide, Berry Max is the safer first Max. The sweetness makes the strength easier to live with, and if you later decide you do not need it, the mint version is there.
