The Z 0.15 Ohm is the highest-power option, rated for 60--80W. This is the coil for vapers who prioritise maximum vapour production: large, warm, dense clouds. At this resistance and wattage, e-liquid consumption is high and battery drain is fast. Use 70--90% VG shortfill e-liquids for best performance and coil longevity.

The Z2 0.2 Ohm runs at 40--80W and offers the broadest sweet spot in the range: excellent cloud production without the extreme wattage demand of the 0.15 Ohm. Most vapers find the Z2 the most practical everyday coil for general sub-ohm use with standard shortfill e-liquids.

The Z 0.25 Ohm is a mid-range versatile option, suited to vapers who want a good cloud-to-flavour balance at moderate wattages around 40--60W. It is more economical on battery and e-liquid than the lower-resistance options.

The Z1 0.4 Ohm is the highest-resistance and most flavour-focused coil in the range. Running at 25--40W, it produces a tighter, warmer vapour with enhanced flavour detail, particularly suited to complex dessert and tobacco profiles where the nuance of the blend matters more than cloud volume.

Remove the base of the Zeus tank by unscrewing it from the tank section. Unscrew the old coil anti-clockwise from the base plate and discard it. Screw the new Z Series coil clockwise until finger-tight; avoid over-tightening as this can damage the O-ring seal.

Prime the new coil before first use. Drop three to four drops of e-liquid directly into the exposed wicking holes on the side of the coil head. Reassemble the tank and fill with e-liquid. Allow the tank to stand upright for five minutes so the cotton wicks fully saturate from the e-liquid surrounding the coil. Starting a new coil dry, or at too high a wattage before the wick is saturated, causes a burnt taste that damages the coil permanently.

Start your first session at the low end of the coil's rated wattage range and increase gradually over the first few puffs to break the coil in. This extends coil lifespan significantly.

A Z Series coil typically lasts one to three weeks of regular daily vaping. The main factors affecting lifespan are e-liquid sweetener content (sucralose caramelises and gunks coils faster than unsweetened blends), wattage (higher power accelerates coil wear), and chain-vaping frequency (allowing a few seconds between puffs prevents dry-hit damage).

Signs a coil needs replacing: a persistent burnt taste even after refilling, reduced vapour production, or a gurgling sound from the tank indicating the wicking has degraded and is flooding. Regular coil replacement maintains flavour quality and prevents the harsh hit of a spent coil.
