The Geekvape B Series coils are the OEM replacement mesh heads for the Geekvape Boost pod-mod family, including the Aegis Boost, Aegis Boost Pro, and compatible Boost-series devices. The B Series designation differentiates these from the Z Series coils (Zeus tank platform) and the newer LP and L Series coils used in the Wenax and lower-wattage Geekvape products. If you have a Boost-family device, B Series coils are the correct replacement.
The three resistance options cover the main vaping styles the Boost platform targets. At 0.2 Ohm and high wattage, the Boost delivers direct-to-lung sub-ohm performance comparable to a dedicated tank mod. The 0.4 Ohm offers the practical everyday sweet spot. The 0.6 Ohm brings the Boost into a more relaxed, flavour-focused register that suits vapers who want something between a tight MTL and a full DTL experience. All three use mesh construction for consistent, fast-ramp flavour delivery.
The B 0.2 Ohm is the highest-output coil in the range. Running at 50--80W on the Aegis Boost Pro, it produces substantial DTL vapour, warm temperature and fast flavour onset. This is the coil for experienced sub-ohm vapers who have transitioned from disposable bars and want full cloud performance from a refillable pod-mod. Use 70% VG or higher shortfill e-liquids; 50/50 nic salts at 20mg will be too harsh at this wattage.
The B 0.4 Ohm is the most versatile and widely used option. At 25--50W it balances cloud production with flavour clarity and is more economical on battery life than the 0.2 Ohm. It works well with both shortfill e-liquids and higher-VG nic salts. This is the coil most vapers use day to day in Boost devices.
The B 0.6 Ohm runs at 15--30W and produces a tighter, cooler vapour with an airflow feel closer to a loose MTL draw. Flavour reproduction is particularly good at this resistance because the lower temperature preserves more volatile flavour compounds. It is well suited to tobacco and complex dessert e-liquids where detail matters. 50/50 and 60/40 blends work acceptably at this resistance; 50% VG is comfortable rather than problematic.
Remove the pod from the Aegis Boost or compatible device. Pull the coil from the base of the pod (it pulls out without unscrewing). Prime the new B Series coil by applying three or four drops of e-liquid directly to the exposed cotton wicking ports on the coil body.
Insert the primed coil into the base of the pod until it clicks into place. Fill the pod with e-liquid through the fill port and replace the silicone seal. Reinsert the pod into the device. Wait at least five minutes before the first puff to allow the cotton to fully saturate. Start at the lower end of the coil's wattage range and increase gradually over the first few draws.
The B Series coil format was introduced with the Geekvape Aegis Boost and is used across the Boost platform family: Aegis Boost, Aegis Boost Plus, Aegis Boost Pro, and Aegis Boost 2. If your Geekvape device has the Boost name, it almost certainly uses B Series coils.
Note that other Geekvape products use different coil series: the Zeus and Aegis sub-ohm tank setups use Z Series coils; the Wenax platform uses LP Series coils; the Digi and newer compact devices use their own proprietary pods. If you are unsure which coil your device takes, check the product name against the coil compatibility note in the device manual or the text on your current coil head.
