What is the Elf Bar 4-in-1 Ultra 50?
The Elf Bar 4-in-1 Ultra 50 is Elf Bar's answer to flavour boredom. Instead of one tank or one flavour, you get four: the kit ships with a device and two refill packs, four prefilled pods in total, and a side toggle lets you flick between the two flavours loaded at any time. Run all four and the kit is rated at up to around 50,000 puffs, which is a lot of vaping from one purchase.
It is a prefilled big-puff kit, so there is no e-liquid to pour and no coils to change. Each pod is sealed with 20mg ElfLIQ salt and a 1.2ohm QUAQ mesh coil, fed from an auto-feed container for a smooth mouth-to-lung or restricted-lung draw. How the 4-in-1 works
The clever bit is the multi-flavour setup. The kit comes as a device plus two refill packs, and each pack holds a pair of prefilled pods, so you have four flavours to play with. The device takes two pods at a time, and a small toggle on the side swaps which one you are drawing on, so you can chop between, say, a cold fruit and a mint without carrying two vapes.
You do not load all four at once. Two pods click into the device and two stay in the box until you need them. Flick the toggle on the front to jump between your two active flavours, and when both run dry you pull them out and slot the second pair in. The little screen shows the battery and which pod is live.
There is no filling and no mess. Each pod is a sealed 1ml prefilled pod sitting on a 5ml auto-feed container that keeps it topped up, roughly 24ml of liquid across the kit. When a pod runs dry you drop in the next, and the running total is what gets you to the headline figure of about 50,000 puffs. It uses the same pod system as the Dual 10K, so those pods are cross-compatible.
Setting up the Ultra 50
There is barely anything to it, and what little there is rewards doing in order. Charge the device first, fit a pair of pods, and give a new pod a moment before you draw hard on it. Get that right and the first puff of every flavour is as clean as the last.
- 1Charge the device over USB-C before first use. Elf Bar does not include a cable, so use a phone lead.
- 2Peel the sticker off the base of each pod and remove any plug from the mouthpiece.
- 3Click two pods into the device until they seat. Keep the other pair in the box for later.
- 4Leave a fresh pod 20 to 30 seconds to wick, then inhale. Use the side toggle to switch flavours.
What does the Ultra 50 cost to run?
This is where a 50,000-puff kit makes its case. One box covers what would be a stack of disposables: at roughly 50,000 puffs you are looking at the equivalent of dozens of single-use bars, for one upfront price and then only the cost of refill pods after that. Per puff, it is a long way under what a bar-a-day habit runs to.
Once the four pods are spent you do not rebuy the device, you just restock the 4-in-1 refill pods, which keeps the ongoing cost low. You also bin far less: one small pod at a time rather than a whole battery and tank every couple of days. It is the same money-saving logic as any refillable pod kit, scaled up to big-puff size.
Common Ultra 50 problems and fixes
It is a simple kit, so most snags are quick to clear. Nearly all of them come back to a pod that has not seated or soaked, or a battery that wants charging.
Burnt or harsh taste
Let a new pod stand 20 to 30 seconds after fitting and take gentle pulls at first. If an older pod tastes burnt, its auto-feed container is likely empty, so swap to the next.
No vapour or one pod is dead
Check both pods are clicked fully home and the toggle is set to the pod you want. Confirm the device has charge on the display.
Flavours feel like they bleed together
Take a couple of draws after switching so the new pod clears. The toggle isolates pods, but the last flavour can linger for a puff or two.
Will not charge
Try another USB-C cable and plug and wipe the port. It charges quickly, so a flat device should wake within a few minutes.

Battery, charging and the draw
The Ultra 50 runs an 850mAh battery, which is plenty for this kind of kit since the pods far outlast a single charge. You top it back up over USB-C, though Elf Bar does not put a cable in the box, so keep a phone lead handy. A small display on the front shows the battery and keeps you posted on which pod is active. The body is pocketable for a big-puff kit, roughly 7.9cm tall, 4.7cm wide and 2.4cm deep.
The draw is on the airy side. The 1.2ohm QUAQ mesh coil is tuned for a smooth mouth-to-lung or light restricted-lung hit rather than big sub-ohm clouds, which is what suits a 20mg salt. The mesh keeps the flavour clean from the first puff of a pod to the last, and the auto-feed container means you are not chasing dry hits as it empties.
Ultra 50 vs the Elf Bar Dual 10K
They are cousins, and the pods are shared, but they aim at different vapers. The Dual 10K is the compact two-flavour kit, around 10,000 puffs, ideal if you want a pocketable device with a flavour to switch to. The Ultra 50 scales that idea right up: four flavours instead of two, and roughly 50,000 puffs instead of 10,000, in a slightly bigger body.
So pick on how much variety and longevity you want. If two flavours and a smaller kit suit you, the Dual 10K is the cheaper, lighter option.
