This makes coil changes faster and eliminates the risk of cross-threading, which is a common cause of pod damage on threaded coil systems.

The 0.4 Ohm GTX coil in these pods is a mesh coil design. Mesh coils distribute heat more evenly across the coil surface than traditional wire coils, producing more consistent vapour from draw to draw and typically better flavour clarity. At 0.4 Ohm, the coil is suited to the 30 to 40W output range that the GEN Air 40 device delivers.

Because GTX is a platform rather than a single product, some GTX coils are compatible across multiple Vaporesso devices. However, these specific pod units are designed and listed for the GEN Air 40 -- verify compatibility with other GTX-capable devices before assuming cross-device fit.

The 2ml and XL pods share the same 0.4 Ohm GTX coil and the same leak-resistant construction. The capacity difference is in the e-liquid reservoir only. Both are priced at £11.25 for five pods.

The 2ml pod is the standard UK-compliant capacity for refillable pods. It holds enough e-liquid for one to three hours of moderate vaping at 0.4 Ohm output, depending on draw length and wattage. At DTL usage intensity, you will refill more frequently than with a tight MTL setup. The 2ml size suits vapers who like to switch between flavours during the day, because the smaller reservoir empties faster and gives you a natural break point to change liquids.

The XL pod extends the between-refill interval and is more practical for vapers who use a single e-liquid for the full day. It holds more e-liquid in the same pod body and maintains the same coil performance. If minimising refill interruptions is the priority and you do not need to switch flavours during the session, the XL is the more convenient choice at no additional cost.
