Installing the Fireluke 3 replacement glass
The Fireluke 3 is a top-fill tank. To replace the glass: drain the tank, unscrew the top cap (the mouthpiece and top section), pull out the TX mesh coil, and slide the broken glass tube off the tank base. The glass is held between O-rings at the base and top cap. Slide the new glass onto the base O-ring, ensure the top O-ring is correctly seated, replace the coil, screw on the top cap, and refill.
The TX coil system in the Fireluke 3 uses a range of resistances from 0.12 Ohm (high-wattage DL) to 0.5 Ohm. If you are replacing the glass after a crack, inspect the O-rings during reassembly — cracks sometimes damage O-rings on impact. Damaged O-rings should also be replaced to prevent leaking from the base.
