How IQOS heated tobacco works
Each IQOS session uses one TEREA tobacco stick. The stick is inserted into the DELIA holder where a precision-controlled heating blade penetrates the tobacco plug and heats it to approximately 350°C. The HeatControl system monitors temperature in real time and adjusts the heat output to maintain a consistent profile throughout the 14 puffs or six minutes of the session.
