These are the refill pods that keep a Higo BB Set running. The BB 4000 is a reusable device: you recharge the 900mAh battery and replace only the pod, and this is that pod. Each one is a dual-chamber design, pairing a 2ml prefilled section with a 4ml refill reservoir, so a single pod carries six millilitres of 20mg nic salt e-liquid and is rated for up to 4,000 puffs. That is the consumable half of the system, and it is where the cost saving over disposables lands.
The reservoir is what makes a BB pod last so much longer than an ordinary prefilled pod. As the 2ml prefilled section empties, the 4ml reservoir feeds it back up, keeping the 1.0 ohm mesh coil wet and the flavour steady right through the pod's life. You are not refilling anything by hand: the pod is sealed and prefilled, and the reservoir simply does its work passively as you vape until all six millilitres are gone.
Each pod has its coil built in, so there is nothing to assemble. You click a pod into the device, give it a moment to prime and vape; when it is spent you click in a fresh one. Pods come in the full range of more than forty flavours, all in 20mg nic salt, so you can match the pod to your taste rather than the device you happen to own. If you do not have the kit yet, the Higo BB Set includes the device and a first pod.
Higo BB Pods are made for the Higo BB Set, the reusable kit built on the BB 4000 system. They click magnetically into the pod bay at the top of that device and seat against the battery contacts. They are not interchangeable with other Higo lines such as the Krystal or Krystal Pro 600, which use different pod shapes and capacities, so make sure you are buying BB pods for a BB device.
Because the coil is built into the pod, there is nothing to match or install. Each pod is a complete sealed unit: the prefilled section, the refill reservoir, the wick and the 1.0 ohm mesh coil all together. That is the advantage of a closed prefilled system over a refillable one. There are no coil resistances to choose, no separate heads to stock and no priming step beyond a brief settle after fitting.
If you already own the kit, a pod or two is all you need to keep it going. If you do not, start with the Higo BB Set, which includes the 900mAh device with its LED screen and a first pod, then restock with these refills as you go.
A standard prefilled pod holds a single 2ml and is finished in around 600 puffs. A BB pod is built differently. It carries a 2ml prefilled section that the coil draws from and a separate 4ml refill reservoir that tops that section back up as it empties. Six millilitres of e-liquid in one pod, fed to the coil gradually, which is how the pod reaches up to 4,000 puffs.
For you that means fewer pod changes and fewer spares to carry. Where a 600-puff pod might last a regular vaper a day or two, a BB pod runs several times longer, so a single pod covers most of a week of moderate use. The reservoir feeding the prefilled section also keeps the coil consistently wet, which avoids the dry, harsh draws you get when a single-chamber pod runs low but you keep vaping.
The trade-off against a refillable pod is that you cannot put your own e-liquid in: the pod is closed and prefilled. In return you get a clean swap with no bottles, no mess and a flavour that tastes the same every time. When the full 6ml is used and the flavour starts to fade, the pod is spent and a fresh one takes its place.
Every BB pod uses a 1.0 ohm mesh coil. Mesh heats the e-liquid across a broad, even surface rather than through a single wire, which keeps the flavour clear from the first puff to the last and resists the burnt taste single-coil pods develop as they empty. With 6ml feeding through it, that even heating is what keeps a long-lasting pod tasting right all the way down.
The 1.0 ohm resistance produces a restrictive mouth-to-lung draw, the tight cigarette-style inhale most ex-smokers prefer, with a measured amount of vapour rather than big clouds. Paired with 20mg nic salt, it gives a firm, satisfying hit on each draw. Nicotine salt is the key: at 20mg it stays smooth where freebase nicotine would scratch, so a high-strength pod is comfortable to vape all day.
Because every pod shares the same coil and fill, only the flavour changes between them. You can move from an iced berry to a bubblegum to a citrus without the device feeling different, which makes it easy to keep a few flavours on the go at once.
BB Pods come in the full range of more than forty flavours, every one in 20mg nic salt. It is one of the broadest line-ups in the reusable pod market, so whatever you vaped before, there is likely a match. The range is grouped below by character to make a long list easier to work through when you restock.
Iced and menthol blends are the most popular: Banana Ice, Cherry Ice, Cola Ice, Pineapple Ice, Blueberry Ice, Fresh Ice Mint, Ice Pop and Watermelon Ice each pair a fruit or soda note with a cool finish, with Menthol for a straight cooling hit. The blue and razz family runs from Blue Razz Ice and Blue Razz Lemonade to Mr Blue, Pro Blue and Blueberry Sour Raspberry, covering sweet through to sharp.
Sweeter tastes are served by the candy and bubblegum group, Watermelon Bubblegum, Huba Huba, Strawberry Huba Huba, Fruit Gum, Rainbow Candy and Summer Dream, while berry and fruit fans have Mixed Berries, Strawberry Burst, Cherry Berries, Blueberry Cherry Cranberry, Strawberry Cherry Cranberry, Triple Mango Pineapple, Strawberry Kiwi and Grape. Citrus and fresh options round it out with Lemon and Lime, Orange Lemonade, Pink Lemonade and Spearmint. Buying pods per flavour makes it easy to keep two or three different tastes in rotation.
Fitting a BB pod is no harder than fitting any other prefilled pod, and you do it far less often thanks to the 4,000-puff life. There is no coil to install and no liquid to pour: you unwrap a pod, click it into the bay on top of the device, and inhale. Give the coil and reservoir a minute to prime first, and you avoid a dry opening puff.
Each BB pod is rated for up to 4,000 puffs, which is several times the life of a standard 600-puff prefilled pod and equates to roughly six or seven disposables' worth of vaping from a single pod. For a moderate vaper that is often most of a week per pod, so you are buying and carrying far fewer consumables than you would with disposables or basic pods.
The saving comes from what you are not buying. A disposable bundles a new battery, board and coil into every purchase. A BB pod is just liquid and a coil, used in the battery you already own, so the cost per puff is much lower. One pod at £16.99 covering up to 4,000 puffs works out cheaper per puff than buying the equivalent run of disposables, and it produces a fraction of the waste.
Keeping a spare pod on hand also avoids the full-price emergency disposable you would otherwise grab when a pod runs dry away from home. Stocking up ahead of time is part of how the reusable system stays cheaper over the long run. For the longest pod life of all in the Higo-style category, the Hyola Pro 8000 pushes a 10ml reservoir to an 8,000-puff rating, while the BB pod sits as a strong middle ground.
The BB pod's headline trick is the dual chamber: 6ml of liquid and up to 4,000 puffs from a single pod means a moderate vaper changes it about once a week, not once a day. For a BB Set owner that translates into fewer spares to carry, fewer interruptions and a lower cost per puff than disposables. The forty-plus flavours mean restocking is never a compromise.
It stays a closed system, so the usual caveats apply: no filling it with your own juice, 20mg only, and the pods are the ongoing cost. The £16.99 price is also higher per pod than a basic 600, though the per-puff maths lands well in its favour. If you own the BB Set, weigh the pros and cons below.
