Drifter Desserts 100ml

Shortfill e-liquids are sold without nicotine in a 120ml bottle containing 100ml of e-liquid. The 20ml of empty space is designed to accommodate one or two 10ml nicotine booster shots, which are sold separately. Adding one 18mg nicotine shot to the 100ml of shortfill produces approximately 1.5mg in the finished 120ml; adding two 18mg shots produces approximately 3mg. Most sub-ohm vapers find 3mg or 6mg freebase nicotine comfortable at the wattages used with DTL tanks.

Shake the bottle well after adding your nicotine shot(s) to ensure even distribution throughout the liquid. Allow the bottle to stand for 30 minutes before filling your tank. This steeping time is particularly relevant for the complex layered dessert profiles in this range: a short steep improves flavour cohesion and reduces any sharp chemical top-notes from freshly mixed bottles.

All eight profiles perform differently at sub-ohm wattages compared to the 10ml pod kit versions. The higher vapour production at DTL wattages emphasises some flavour notes over others: in Vanilla Custard the vanilla base note becomes warmer and more prominent; in Lemon Tart the citrus brightness intensifies; in the cheesecake variants the cream character comes forward as the vapour density increases.

Blueberry Cheesecake and Strawberry Cheesecake are particularly well suited to sub-ohm use: the creamier, denser vapour of the 70/30 formulation enhances the rich cheesecake base. Lemon Tart and Apple Pie benefit from the warmer temperature of sub-ohm output, which releases more of the pastry and spice notes in each profile.

Vanilla Custard and Cream Donut are the most accessible flavours for vapers new to dessert sub-ohm e-liquids. Both have well-defined, immediately recognisable profiles without the complexity that can make layered fruit-dessert blends taste muddled on first encounter.

The 70/30 VG/PG ratio is the standard for sub-ohm shortfills and works well with any DTL mesh coil in the 0.15--0.4 Ohm range. For the Geekvape Zeus Nano II or Zeus X Mesh tanks at VapeCity, the Z2 0.2 Ohm coil at 50--65W gives excellent flavour extraction from the Drifter Desserts range without running too hot. The Z1 0.4 Ohm at 30--45W produces a cooler vapour that highlights the subtler notes in the custard and pastry profiles.

Dessert e-liquids are typically higher in sweetener content than fruit or menthol blends. At sub-ohm wattages, sweetener build-up on mesh coils is more significant than in pod kits. Replacing coils regularly and avoiding chain-vaping during heavy dessert sessions extends coil life. Some vapers find a dedicated "dessert coil" that they run until gunked and replace, keeping a separate coil for fruit e-liquids, helps manage this practically.
